Poison oak in full fall color Fall color in this part of California may seem scarce or non-existent to folks coming from other areas. Since I have never experienced the fall color of the East Coast, I don’t have anything to compare our display with. Poison oak puts on a pretty nice show here in my opinion.

The picture above (it’s a thumbnail, click for a larger image) shows the bright color and also the seed capsules of the poison oak plant. Yes, it does make seeds. No, in my collecting I haven’t sampled any.
